Wow!!

So, last Friday I got the extreme pleasure of having a 3D Ultrasound of Brandon. The pictures are amazing!! I loved the 20 minutes we spent in there so much!!!! Sierra was very cute, at one point she looked at the TV screen and yelled "That's baby Brandon!". I cried, of course. I feel so lucky and a bit spoiled to be able to see my precious son's face a little early. It's funny, I have friends who think it is totally creepy but I just love it!!! I am going to try and post one for you all to see. We'll see if I can figure it out.

Just 5 weeks to go! Hopefully little Brandon will want to come out on time, like Sierra did. :) I can only keep my fingers crossed.

I'm not so good at this...

I just realized that I come on here just to read everyone else's posts but never post them myself. I find myself waiting to have pictures to post with what I am writing about and that seems to stop me every time. So, I will just write for a little. Maybe this weekend sometime I can post some pictures.

We have started the process of trying to potty train Sierra. Part of me feels we have started late and then I remind myself that I was waiting for clues from her to see if she was ready. She does really good when I tell her to go potty but is always to busy playing to stop and go. I should have known that the child who can barely stop moving long enough to eat wouldn't want to stop to go potty. :) I know she will figure it out, I just hope she does before August, so that she can go to Preschool.

The baby and my belly are growing very big! We had a 3D ultrasound last Friday (Happy Mother's Day to me). It was incredible!! I just loved getting to see my adorable baby boy a bit early. He has big cheeks and a round face and looks a awful lot like his sister. It is going to be so fun to see how much he looks like these ultrasounds. Hopefully I can post the pictures soon. We are getting very excited to have this baby boy! I am also realizing how much I have to do before he comes. Ahh!! Where does the time go?

Gym Time!

So it is no secret that my daughter has a ton of energy!! So, to help combat this we joined My Gym. For those that don't know it is a gym specifically designed for kids. Sierra's main class is on Friday mornings. We have been twice and she loves it to say the least. For an hour she gets to run around as crazy as she wants to. Her favorite seems to be jumping into the ball pit. I am so impressed at how well she has done and how willing she is to try new things. She has hung upside down from the parallel bars and swung on the rings. She is so big!! Once I take some pictures I will post them.

IT'S A BOY!

We had our ultrasound on Thursday and saw that we are having a boy. It is kind of funny because most people I know that are pregnant right now are having boys. Guess we are following suit. The ultrasound was great. Everything looked to be healthy and the baby moved a lot. At one point, he was even standing on his head. So funny! The ultrasound tech said he weighed 14 oz, online it says at 21 weeks a baby weighs 10 oz- does that mean he is going to be big? We'll have to wait and see. I just can't believe we are going to have a son!! Yeah!!!

Baby #2!

So this is the first real blog that I am attempting. Official only because I have actually told people about this blog. I think it looks pretty good. Everything seems to work. :)

I wanted to write a little about baby #2, or as my mom calls it, Baby B. B only for the second in our family. Sure, Sean hopes it is a boy. And part of me does too. I would love to have a son and love to see Sean with his son. But, I would also love a sister for Sierra. How fun would that be for her? We saw a family yesterday that had 2 little girls, and they were dressed the same. It was way cute!! Hopefully we will know which it is very soon. I have an appointment on Friday (1/30/09) and hope that my new doctor will do an ultrasound and check. If not, then it should be a couple weeks after that when I have my 20 (23?) week ultrasound scheduled. I don't know that date yet because I switched insurance and doctors this month. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Either way, I am so excited to be having baby #2. I love being a mom, more than anything I've ever done!!! Don't let me fool you though, I am very nervous. Sierra has so much energy, I'm afraid I won't be able to keep up. :) I guess we'll see what happens.

I haven't quite figured this out yet.

Well here we are about a month later and I still haven't told anyone about this blog. I am not sure how to do that just yet. :) At least the page looks pretty. Maybe I should take Kimi up on her offer for lessons on blogging. Wish me luck.

I'm trying this out!

Hello! Well, I finally decided to see if I could figure this out. I have had so much fun reading everyone else's posts that I thought I would try it out. So here we go... First things first, I have to figure out how to do this all. I've always considered myself pretty computer savy but I am not so sure any more. Everyone's sites are so nice and pretty, and mine, well...it's not. We'll see what we can do about that. That is all for now, Sierra is calling. I will have to do more later.
